East Valley Pro Life Alliance

AZ East Valley Pro-Life Alliance informs…

October 30, 2011 By Bonnie Waite

“Race for the Cure” and Susan G. Komen Link to Planned Parenthood

As October is being singled out as “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”, the East Valley Pro Life Alliance (EVPLA) has reached out to many offering insight and education about:

  • The link between breast cancer and abortion
  • The link between Planned Parenthood and the Susan G.Komen Corporation
  • The link between funds donated specifically for cancer research ending up given to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in our country.

It appears that Susan G.Komen, American Cancer Society,  United Way and March of Dimes all either donate funds,or in some way support, to Planned Parenthood (the largest abortion provider), or  support embryonic stem cell research which takes the lives of unborn children in the name of “research”.

In the process of alerting the community to these facts, we have contacted a school principal and notified Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction, John Huppenthal. Information provided explained how the well meaning efforts of students to raise funds for “Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure”, might actually culminate in donations which cause the loss of life at the embryonic level…as opposed to the actual intended “cause” of research for breast cancer elimination .

EVPLA informs the public of the methods being utilized to promote abortion and stem cell research in our country. To that end, a local grocery store “chain” was  advised of  the connection between the advertisements in the store for products supporting “Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure” and the loss of life those “sales” could bring about unintentionally. Consumers have a right to know how their money is being utilized. Hopefully, this type of community interaction will continue to reveal the damaging effects upon the family wrought through many advertising programs.

The EVPLA investigations and community education will continue. The public response most certainly will increase as pro-life minded citizens learn of these facts and join in the battle to stand up for the dignity of all innocent human lives. Recent polls indicate that 70% of the population in the U.S. self-identifies as “Pro Life”.

The East Valley Pro Life Alliance urges you to take an uncompromising stand against the Culture of Death. We invite you to join our organization!
